Nowadays everyone is obsessed with being the best, looking their best and having the best. Of course, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be the best version of yourself, but the problem is we seem to have lost our way a little.
Being the best you can be no longer means being your best as people increasingly become preoccupied with what others are doing; how others look, how other’s dress, what others are wearing … the list goes on! As a result, we are measuring our success against others – hello comparison culture!
As two twenty-somethings, we know what it is like. Heck, we are guilty of scrolling Instagram and lusting over the bodies of fitness models, we are only human. And their abs are amazing!
The Good List was created to encourage people to ask themselves one simple question we ask ourselves (almost) every day – am I living my best life?
It is this one simple question that can stop you from heading out on a Friday night and sipping cocktails when you really want to be in bed with a cuppa tea and Netflix. It’s this same question that can encourage you to quit your job and move halfway around the world. Because it’s all about living your best life not the doing what others around you are doing, or worse, what others think you should do!
